Pallant Homes is delighted to announce that Reserved Matters approval has been granted by Chichester District Council for our residential development of 132 new homes on land east of Broad Road, Chidham, marking a significant milestone in the delivery of much-needed housing in the district. The approval follows the successful outline planning appeal under the auspices of Landmark Chambers Sasha White KC and Kimberley Ziya
Situated within a sustainable village setting, the site benefits from access to local amenities and excellent transport connections, including a nearby railway station. The development will deliver a high-quality mix of homes, including 40 affordable homes, helping to address identified local housing needs. The detailed proposals have been shaped through extensive collaboration with planning officers, consultees, and stakeholders, ensuring a thoughtfully designed scheme that integrates sensitively with its surroundings. Construction is expected to commence in Winter 2026.
Pallant Homes would like to extend its sincere thanks to Neame Sutton Ltd , Amanda Sutton, and the wider consultant and in-house teams for their hard work and commitment in bringing the project forward.
